Warkop PPI x BUGI is an educational event by PPI Hannover (in cooperation with us), where students and professional workers were invited to hold an informative scientific seminar and discussion. We brought us the topic Surveillance of Antibiotic. In this topic, we covered how the human body is resistance against antibiotics and how we can treat our projects better. Some projects that we practised were about maintaining general health and awareness or care about the environment.
The event took place on Saturday, 13 July 2019 at 11:30-14:00 in Leibniz Universität Hannover and conducted by Beneditta Suwono, M.Sc. with experience in antimicrobial resistance. The participants were encouraged to actively partake in smaller groups in simulation on managing projects, which the guest speaker has planned. After that, they presented the result from their discussions. Finally to conclude the event, the guest speaker gave an overall summary on the danger of antibiotic resistance and its risks.
